3D City Models - creation, utilisation and maintenance

Decision processes in city planning and regional planning ever more require a complex interaction of different specialists. Architecturial criteria must be seen in connection with the preservation of historical buildings. At the same time aspects of traffic concepts, environmental protection, flood protection, promotion of economical development, tourism and much more must be taken into consideration.

Due to a constantly growing demand for 3D City Models and many existing "island" solutions, we developed a general concept for creation, utilisation and maintenance of 3D City Models within officially recognized data bases.
