Buildings
Existing buildings of a city, region or a certain area can be generated in different ways.
Depending on the type of use, different LOD (Levels of Detail) can be assigned. Following data can serve as output basis for creation of 3D Cities:

Elevation: laser scanning, aerial photogrammetry (automatic, semi automatic), possibly also from digital maps

Simplified roof shapes: laser scanning, aerial photogrammetry (automatic, semi automatic)

Detailed roof shapes: aerial photogrammetry (interactive/semi automatic)

Simplified facade textures: aerial photograph (automatic) or generated from texture libraries
