Go-3D conference 2008 focused on boosting effectiveness of business and production processes through 3D computer graphics. Interesting presentations and exhibits gave a good overview over the current possibilities of applying 3D technology. On "North Magazine" of the 05th of May 2007 the North German TV reported about the advanced technologies of GTA Geoinformatik GmbH. The new possibilities opened up with Google Earth and in navigation through the use of 3D City Models were presented. The British company 3DLabs provided a prototype for a new generation of 3D navigation systems for the TV documentation.
City of Anklam counts on 3D City Model
To make the restructuring of the historic core of the city of Anklam "visible" to decision makers, investors and citizens, the city relies on modern 3D visualizations. Neubrandenburg second German city after Berlin to be available for Google Earth in high definition
GTA Geoinformatik GmbH provides a high definition 3D city model of the entire city of Neubrandenburg for Google Earth. The model features a completely textured downtown area. For modeling, the tridicon™ System of GTA Geoinformatik GmbH was used.
