Production and Maintenance of Digital Topographic Maps

One of the main fields of operation for GTA Geoinformatik GmbH is the evaluation of aerial photographs into digital topographic maps.

The evaluation of the aerial photographs is done with our analytical stereo evaluation systems (SD 2000, LH Systems). With the softwares Microstation and PRO600 we can separate points with an accuracy of 5µm (that is 5cm in reality, referring to a scale of 1:10000).

Another means of evaluatiuon is the use of digital photographs. Aerial photographs are scanned and evaluated on the PC. Our software tridicon™ 3D is capable of allowing a stereo evaluation similar to the one of the optical system. To achieve best accuracies in the digital maps we take special care of the quality of flight missions (film material), the scanning resolution and the quality of aerotriangulation.

Through the quality of our equipment and the experience of our team we are well capable to meet the specific requirements of our customers. This includes a well planned layer structur as well as plots, different data formats (DXF,DGN...) and the maintenance of existing digital maps with new data.
